Default U joint DIY video and photo write-up

DIY Dodge Ram 2500 rear driveshaft U joints replacement.

I replaced both the U joints in order to fix a vibration problem.

Truck vibrates between 25-50mph when I press on the gas only. The truck runs smooth as soon as I let go of the gas paddle.

I have gotten many opinions on this, but the most firm and trusted one was from the Dodge parts supervisor. I took his words and went to work.

I have a quick YouTube video (no captions)
http://youtu.be/d23RmLZcXwY

Or a step-by-step photo write-up (62 photos) of this project.

I hope this will help you if you are thinking about doing this yourself.

Best. Enjoy.

WTG for doing that yourself and for posting the excellent slideshow and video. I've done one before and know how difficult it can be to get those rusted bolts off and to press out the old joints. Reps all the way
