One of the main options I looked for when buying mine was buckets with console. Luxury and personal space. I want room for my things not someone else.. That's the reason why I bought the QC.. get in the back.

Okay. I just switched my order from the bench seat to the bucket seats. Called the dealership yesterday to see if it was still possible to make the change or if it was too late. They called me back today and told me they can still make the change. So, I've decided the looks of the console/armrest have outweighed the functionality of the 3rd seat up front. It'll be just my wife and I in the truck probably 95% of the time. My wife thinks I'm crazy for wanting to change now, but I told her it was the fault of ramforumz.com. Seeing this thread made me second guess my initial decision and I'm happy I did.

My next truck will have the bench seat for 3 primary reasons. 1-I have 4 kids now, 2-The only rattles in my truck come from the center console, and 3-the sun can glare off of the silver trim/chrome bezel and nearly blind you while driving.

I test drove a Laramie with bench seat and love it. I think it's designed better than the console, more durable.

I like the car-like ride of the buckets and the convince of the center console. Unless you have 6 riding, then there really is no reason to have the bench...

I prefer the bench w/ fold down console... I like having that extra seat in case it is ever needed, and I don't make use of a console enough to really need it there at all times...

Console for me. I also, like many here, appreciate the arm rest. I also like the shifter on the console.

It took less than 24 hours to pop that chrome trim out, hit it a few times with plasti-dip and pop it back into place.

It looks really good, and the glare is a thing of the past!
