Default 2010 6.7L Cummins Diesel

Any recommendations on a cold air intake for this motor? Plan on installing the Edge Attitude CTS module as soon as it's available. Thx!!

What power levels are attainable with Edge, and CAI only?

Numerous tests have shown that there is no real gain by installing a CAI on a CTD unless you are in the 500+hp range. The stock box does just fine. If you really have to have something look into a PSM system. It is very fuctional and not real expensive. You can also build one yourself from parts you can buy at Home Depot.

Default CAI...Ya I notice a difference

All I can tell you that in my desperate frustration to "WAKE UP" my 6.7 without alerting the Mopar Nazi's at the dealer to a warranty ending move, I installed a Banks CAI. In my honest opinion, these engines are starving for air. Plain and simple, they can't breath. May as well just close the exhaust off completely. No idea why they added an exhaust brake, the DPF already has the full time job.

Anyway, after the install I noticed a significant difference, mostly bottom end pulling my trailer. Fuel milage unloaded has improved as well, it's hard to measure as there are too many variables and would not be an honest answer, however I wouldn't be shy in saying I picked up an extra 80-100k/tank.
I have to say though (as a die hard MOPAR guy) I really love my new Ram, it's an awesome truck looks and comfort wise, but any day of the week I would take the power, performance and fuel economy of my 97 12v.
It's very frustrating to spend that kind of coin and have the truck feel so flat. Programmer, DPF delete and EGR plate is the answer but hell, there is a lot of money in the price tied up in warranty and I haven't found a decent dealer to deal with just yet.
Sorry for the mini rant, I hope the rest was helpfull. I wouldn't hesitate with the Banks CAI. Also, as far as I know they still don't have a superscoop for the 2010 yet, but I cut the bottom out of mine anyway.

My girlfriends dad was looking for a 06 3500 to trade his 09 6.7 (had an 05 5.9 before it) cause he hated it so much. I convinced him to try a DPF delete before he got rid of it and he loves driving the truck now (no power and a short bed). It was a little more reasonable for him to install since he'll probably hit 100k miles by july. It has already paid for itself in fuel since he puts around 60k miles a year on it not to mention the trips to the dealership in limp mode.

Ya, know what your saying and your 100% right....hard for me because my Bro-inlaw works at a diesel performance shop and I see owners with 6.7s leaving there all the time much happier after a dpf delete and tuner. Think I may have found a dealer that I can work with if warranty becomes an issue. If so, it's all coming off and getting done!!

I too noticed a big difference after installing my airaid cai. Then a dpf delete and tuner, that really woke up my 2009, love the truck and with the 4" straight exhaust, it sounds great.

ahhh, so this might be a little related to the sluggish performance I have seen out of my new 6.7 ram. I bought a 2010 new in Jan 2011 and it has no where near the take off of my 02 5.9 Diesel or my 06 5.9 diesels I had...

Is there not anything that can be done that does NOT void the warranty?
