Default Fender Trim or Flares Need opinions

My fenders were getting beat up so I put on these chrome trim pieces to protect them. I am not so sure if I like them or not and am considering taking them off and going with black OE Flares from Bushwacker.

Any opinions?

I think they go with your chrome bumpers, door handles and mirror covers.

Thanks, I think I am going to keep them on for a while to see if they grow on me. They do fit snug with no gaps.

Dodge has color matched OEM ones. I am not a fan of chrome, so that would be my suggestion.

You are saying they have color matched OEM flares, right?

I think the trim on yours looks good. It's just the right width and it ties in the other chrome pieces you have.

Having said that, I'm having this same debate with myself that you are. Like you, I have the chrome bumper so I added chrome door handle and mirror covers to cover up the ugly black. I think the chrome trim looks good, but I'm leaning toward the paint matched OEM flares as it's a little more rugged looking and you don't see them very much.

I see the Laramies now have the colour matched flares as an option so I'm hoping to see a white one to help me make up my mind.

You can order them from here or here.

Looks like your truck is silver. I found these on ebay for a pretty good price. They have a couple blemishes, but are already painted and very reasonably priced.

Thanks for all the great feedback.

Brokenwrech, you hit on my delema exactly, I just wish it was a little more rugged looking. I really do like them, but possibly a little too nice looking....but I do like chome. Tough call for me.

Wildcat, by color matched do you mean we can tell them our paint code and they'd send flares that match or do you mean they are paint-able to match after we get them?

I ask as I could only see paint-able flares on those sites.

Thanks!
