I had the same idea when I first got the truck. Its little things like that that I think should just be added. If its a safety issue or something then don't put the one touch switch in the back so that only the driver can use the feature. I also feel like the windows should ALL come down and more importantly GO BACK UP using the FOB key instead of just having the 2 front windows down down how ever far... Oh well, it gives me something to work on down the road I guess! lol

If all the doors have the electric motors in them, switches & wiring have to be the issue

yesterday i was escorting a semi truck, i was on the road for 14 hours, during that trip i went through 7 check points, they were Highway Patrol, Homeland Security, Border Patrol, Immigration & Naturalization, & Dept. of Agriculture officers & agents at almost every check point. If you want to get through a check point quickly, as you pull up, you open all 4 windows, smile & greet the officials in some manner, when it is dark, you turn on your interior lights. I get waved through 99% of the time
I am very happy to have 4 windows that work from the drivers door switches, for those check points especially

how did you get them to close the windows. I thought they were only supposed to open the fronts not close.

Well I know I have to push the unlock 4 times and hold for 2 seconds and both front roll down 6 times and then hold does half way. As for roll up it's unlock 4 times then hold down the lock. This works for my sport cc. I'll see if I can post. Vid I'm new so I guess I'll look in the faqs

Man I'm getting old. I'm not making fun of anyone but the idea that holding a button for five seconds needs to be corrected or improved seems ludicrous to me. My last truck had wind down windows and I didn't see the big deal but to each his own.

I guess it's what your used to. My neighbour bought a Jeep and when his grandkids got in they didn't know how to put the windows down because it had winders.
I'm with you lol! I liked my s10 and my wife's aveo with manual everything, and it will last forever! On our honeymoon the valet asked me how to lock the door... I am also disappointed that I couldn't get my ram with manual front windows, I like the power rear because I can't reach them. I put the windows down/up several times a day, just a matter of time before I'm spending big $$$ to fix them. Anyway, like you said, to each their own, I just couldn't imagine going through the trouble to change this...
