Default 04 Dodge Ram 1/4 mile

I have a 04 Dodge Ram QC 4x4 with a 5.7 Hemi. The truck has 3.92 gears,17'' rims,AEM Brute force intake, Dynomax Cat-back dual exhaust, and a superchip running the 91 performance tune. I ran it at the dragstrip tonight and it was my first time every going to the dragstrip. My best time was as follows:
RT 1.144
60 ft 2.225
330 ft 6.313
990 ft 12.329
ET 15.067
MPH 91.65

I was just wondering if this is a respectable time for the setup of my truck, and what relatively cheap mods that I can do to get myself into the high 14's.

Y pipe, remove air filter, short belt, leave in 4x... just doing maybe one of these can put you there...

If I add a better flowing y pipe and a 180 thermostat do you think that will get me to my goal? Also does anybody reccomend the sonnax line pressure booster for the transmission? Thanks for any replies

yup, if your that close..those mods will get you to 14's... I know some people have sonnex and i don't really hear any complaints... i'm afraid to do anything to mine since I'm getting ready to rebuild my 4th (or 5th..I've lost count)..too much power i guess..

Is there anything else recommended to help the transmisssion handle the extra power or would the sonnex do a decent job? There is almost 228000 kms on the transmission now and I never had any problems yet. But if there is anything that will keep it as reliable as it has been while still offering some performance would be great

Try to avoid going into OD when going WOT. In addition you should limit your downshifts that results in going into 2nd Prime. Those are no no's and have been causes of transmission failures. Overheating is another big killer so just keep an eye out on your temps.

Stay away from sonnax i dropped from 9.1's to 8.8's in the 8th mile when i removed it. My 1st to 2nd shift had an almost half second delay or sometimes wouldnt even shift at WOT.
