Default Ram Air Scoop? interesting!

Found this and I know it's for a diesel but it got my mind turning on how to make one of these for my hemi. Maybe i'll have some time this weekend to look and see if it will work. What you guys think, I know people have added extra ducts down low, but has anyone done something like this?

There is a guy here that has this on his diesel Ram. It seems to me that the lower end will fit just fine but you'd have to figure out how to modify the top end to fit your intake box.

I was thinking it could be fiberglassed. but that's just an idea. I have a lot of ideas but never anytime to put into action so I thought I would spark others with ideas and maybe i'll get to it someday

some thoughts, these can become clogged and block your intake air flow, by off road debris, snow, mud, twigs & leaves, and they can ingest water during high speed or heavy rains, even papers blowing down a highway may cause you problems..... If you use yor vehicle primarily during good weather and on paved roads, they can provide the benefit of a slight ram air effect...other wise I would give the idea careful thought before I went to the trouble of installing one..just my Humble opinion

I'm not saying i would block of the one in the fender and just use the ram air scoop, i am saying this could be added for more air flow, as with anything open toward the front of the vehicle it does have potential to be blocked. I don't play in the mud anymore or anything like that. I just thought it was interesting, but props on another opinion about it. I def. wasn't thinking about rain in high speed.

I don't think rain would be an issue at all I have a VARARAM with the scoop in the lower part of the front bumper and live in SE Ga where we usually get a lot of rain and even in highway use behind SEMI trucks don't have a problem with rain ......standing water, mud ect ya you might have an issue. a better option would be the jet steam air scoop http://i1007.photobucket.com/albums/...7/IMG_2287.jpg and
