Default Electrical smell when pulling hills with Travel Trailer

I have a new 2011 Big Horn with towing package which I purchased 2 weeks ago. The 1st time i pulled my TT, I had no problems towing in tow/haul mode. This weekend I pulled the TT and everytime i pulled a hill, taching out at about 3200rpm's, I got an electric smell. But as soon as the rpm's dropped the smell went away. Anyone have any ideas about this? I will call the dealer tomorrow and ask the service manager whats up with this as well.

Thanks!

Are you sure it's electrical? I'd suspect trans fluid, coolant or engine oil.

Well it smells electrical. But I suppose it could be trans fluid, etc. I checked with the service dept at the dealer and he thinks it might be the exhaust burning off. Not sure I buy that, but any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks!

I know some of the older chrysler products would stink once the heat shielding under the hood got hot. If this ever happens to my ram...I will sell it immediately.

Check your temps next time it happens, just out of curiosity.
