Default new truck audio upgrade question

Sounds ok, but I've always had aftermarket stereos in my cars. I want to keep the fancy u connect touch screen deck in my truck but replace the speakers (that's easy) and i need a sub. Crutchfield is always my go to but htey have no boxes for rams.

I need something for 2011 that'll fit under the seat, a single 10 should do the trick for base but I can't find any boxes. I do recall however when I was looking for info on these trucks seem to remember seeing a small box built for under the rear pass seat, for some reason I'm thinking Kicker but I could be wrong. Anybody know that or a similiar design

also, the package I didn't get had the center of the dash speaker in it, considering trying to add something similar, anybody know what's comparable with that?

I am assuming you have a crew cab, non mega cab. You have several options available. JL audio makes several Stealth boxes that come preloaded with 1 or 2 subs depending on the application.
If you want add your own sub(s) you can find prefab boxes from:
Super Crew Sounds
Pandora Subwoofer box
Sub Thump
you can even find some on ebay.

I know there are a lot of other companies out there but I am drawing a blank. I am pretty sure anything marked at 2010 will work for a 2011. Can someone here validate that?

I can only speak for the JL Stealth boxes. I had one mounted in my center counsel in my 2004 F350. I plan on installing one into my Mega Cab when I get home for R&R. I have always been a fan of JL products.

The dash speakers are 3.5" and you can reasonably fit a 4" in there with some dremel work.

What I have found is that music sucked with a center channel speaker as it sounded really muddy, not well defined, and I had some good speakers. Having some clear balance from side to side sounded a lot better.

so after some browsing, does anybody know of a single sub box that doesn't require the removal of the fold out seat storage or at least won't require spacing modifications to the seats?

I've seen a picture of what I believe was the factory one that fit right inside left the fold outs as is, but if that's not possible I at least don't want to have to be adding spacers to my seats.

Yeah, check out MTX/Thunderform boxes. SuperCrewSound (the link above) carries those as well.

Default Quad/Crew Sub Box

I found this one before snagging a JL stealthbox off craigslist for $200 Looks like they offer a 10" or 12" option.
