$489 for a 5" lift. http://store.fatbobsgarage.com/dodge...rce=googlebase
This is a 2" leveling kit and 3" body lift. It will do the same thing any suspension lift that costs 3 times as much does; make room for bigger tires.
There is a misconception that all suspension lifts perform better off road. This is a fallacy. The high end ones do. Like this:
This is a Ram Runner, with a $14,000 suspension designed by KORE. What makes this suspension perform is those massive contol arms, which allow the wheel to travel about 14 inches, complared to the stock suspenion which allows about 6 inches of travel.
How many inches of travel do those suspensions in the $2,000-$3,000 range give you? The same 6 inches that you get from the stock suspension!
Many of the suspensions in that price range don't even give you high-quality gas shocks. They come with hydraulic shocks, with an option for an upgrade. So save your money on the suspension, do the body lift/level kit and put the savings towards higher quality shocks and tires. You'll have 5" of lift and a great riding, handling truck with money left over.
