Default Lookin for exhaust for the new truck!!

Hey y'all, I just picked up my 2006 Ram yesterday and I'm looking into somekind of aftermarket exhaust. Everyother car I've driven has had some kind of aftermarket exhaust. So this truck will keep up that standard lol.
I'm looking for something kinda mild. Nothing crazy like the glass pack I have in my '62 Plymouth. I work law enforcement so I can't be too loud. But it needs something. I was thinking Flowmaster super 40? Any opinions?

Flowmaster is a good choice. A quieter choice would be a Magnaflow muffler. Good luck with the mods!

Which magnaflow? I mean I want a nice tone. I just don't wanna be bleeding from the ears like my glasspack was lol.

I just put a Flowmaster Super 40 on my 2009 Ram. It's not too loud. Once it shifts up it settles into a nice throaty sound. If you get on the gas, though, people know you are coming. But I don't think it's offensive. My brother had straight pipes on his Harley. Now that was offensive. I rode his bike and it set off car alarms going down the street. The Super 40 doesn't do that. I'm putting a K&N C.A.I. on now, so hopefully I'm going to get some more torque for pulling my travel trailer, as well as some more HP. If not I'm doing the Superchip programmer next. Good luck.

I have a single in / dual out Magnaflow with an 18" can length. Nice tone, doesn't make your ears bleed but when ya get on it, people turn and look.

check out the Super 50 (SUV) series or the 70 series if you like the Flowmaster sound.

I know I'm probably going with the magnaflow heard alot good things about them on the forum. If you look the top 2 exhaust choices on this forum is magnaflow and flowmaster it all comes down to personal prefference.

You said it there man! When I first bought my truck, I had a Magnaflow muffler, then I switched to Flowmaster for a different sound and ended up liking the Flomaster sound better. 2 mufflers, 2 designs, 2 different sounds!
