Default Avengerz forum

So my wife and I have been looking at some 4 door options to replace her Accord Coupe in preparations for future family. We have some options we really like, but we are trying to stay away from another car payment. The Avenger looks like it might be a good option and between trade in of the Accord and Car fund, we should be able to pull it off with no payment. So I decided to head over to the Avengerz forum to ask some questions and look around.

For some reason, I can't get registered over there!! I have tried 3 times with different emails, and they keep denying me saying that I am a spammer? What gives? I sent an email through the "Contact Us" link, but nothing so far. Anyone have any ideas?

No idea! I'm on Avenger ForumZ and GPMM with the same user name, no issues! It's a good little car and great on gas!

Thanks for the quick reply. I am on the diesel forum too, with no problems, but for some reason I can't get registered. I hope that someone who is a moderator over there gets this message and can lend some insight.

We have a 2010 Avenger with the 2.4l pretty good on gas, but the 2.4 doesnt have much power, the new pentastar v6 in the 2011 haul and they are great on gas. I am very happy with the Avenger now, the first few days I didnt know what to think but its a great little car.

Send GT a message from this Z. I had this problem with someone else on another Z. You are being rejected because of your IP, he needs to unblock it and I can't do that.

we test drove an Avenger R/T when we got our '10 Charger....if you have any kind of height on you it won't be comfy....I'm 6'1", wife is 5'9-10"....teenager is 5'9" and he bitches about leg room in my Ram (qc) and at the time a 3 month old...with just the wife and I in it, it felt like a clown car and not much get up and go (even for a R/T, use to my Hemi I guess) So we opted for a 2010 Charger SXT with the HO 3.5 250 and 250 with 3.66 gears. We previously owned an '07 Magnum so we were use to having room, so the Charger just fit us. The SXT was nice, but when we found the SRT8 we just went for it. Don't get me wrong, if the Avenger fits you guys, go for it, but I honestly believe you'll be better off in a Charger. just my 2 cents.

I am in a different location today, so I will try again.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am 6'2, so fit may be an issue. We haven't test drove one, I have just been looking at options online. Also on the short list is an Equinox and another Accord, only in 4 door. My wife drives 25 miles each way to work, so gas mileage is a definite concern, and probably eliminates the Charger. We are hoping for the 30 mpg range highway. Get up and go is not as much of an issue, but fitting me is, especially because whatever we buy will take road trip duty away from the Ram for gas mileage benefits.
