well the shop said theres differant pressures then what the kit said theres were higher but seems ok now with the heat 85 to 100 was better cooling was told 50 at 95 to 100 temp so just seeing how it goes now dont think its overcharge so will see all summer

Don't you have any warranty left? I would be taking it to the dealer instead of just adding gas. If your evaporator is on the way out you will be glad you're not the one paying to replace it.

I am assuming the can has a pressure gauge on it. The easiest way to tell is your system is under or overcharged is by using this chart & calculator. http://www.csgnetwork.com/r134apresstempconv.html
It compares static pressure to ambient temperature. This will give you a general idea if your truck is over, under or perfectly charged. This chart applies to any vehicle using R134A.

Now to test your truck: Let the vehicle sit without running for 1-2 hours. This allows you high & low side line pressures to equalize.
Hook up the pressure gauge & with the engine still off check you static pressure. Note this number & the outside temp.
Go to the chart and find the temperature that matches your ambient temp.
If your pressure reading is higher than the chart then you are overcharged.
If your pressure reading is lower than the chart then you are undercharged.

One other thing i wanted to toss out there. Its an industry standard to have you AC vents blowing air that is around 30 degrees cooler than the outside air. This temperature reading should be taken at the AC vent closest to the evaporator. 99% of the time this will be the passenger vent closest to the passenger door.

Sometimes it will be colder that 30 and sometimes it will be less. Humidity plays a huge factor in efficiency. 70+% humidity levels will have the most significant impact on your systems performance.

Just remember to ensure the HVAC controller is set to recirculation to provide the best efficiency. This allows the system to remove more heat from the same air over & over VS introducing hotter air that requires a lot more heat to be removed.
