Thumbs up Does my truck have a lift?

Hey guys i just got this truck not to long ago and im not to fimiliar with trucks in general. Its a 98 4x4 sport. I took a few pics below, but i was just wondering if somebody has already put a lift on the truck or not? If not and the rear block is factory, what would i do if i wanted to lift the rear higher? Thanks

The front coils look stock, not sure about the rear, but it does have a 2" or so lift block......Probably also stock.

I agree with ^^^^ and if you want the rear lifted a bit more, take out the blocks back there and replace them with a taller set.

The front looks strangely stock as I see no spacer on top of the coil springs. But, they may be 2500 series springs vs. 1500 springs and I am thinking so because I have not seen a stock 1500 rear suspension with blocks.

Not uncommon on the sport models to be lifted from the manufacturer.

My 2001 Ram Sport 1500 sat 3" higher than stock 4x4s. Looked just like yours from the factory. Leveling the front end could have cleared 35s easy.

O ok thanks guys. I have 34in tires on the truck right now. But im wanting to go bigger. So say if i want to raise the truck 5in. Ill have to take out that factory 3in block and put in a 8in? Ive never seen a block that big for sale.

Don't do lift blocks that big, you'll have to get new leaf springs. Easy swap. Check out Superlift or Skyjacker for ideas.

Ok guys how does this setup sound. A 4" add a leaf, 4.5" block, new shocks for this setup, and a 6" spacer in the front? So i guess since the truck is lifted 3in from the factory that this would give me somewhere around a 8-9in lift total. Am i right? I gave the front a extra .5in to level it out somewhat.

Forget the front spacer idea. You need lifted coil springs, upper and lower control arms, track bar drop brackets, sway bar drop brackets....etc.

If you keep your rear blocks and get new rear leaf springs with a 4" lift you will still have a monster.

Most kits say the lift kits won't work with the Sport models so you should start talking to a local 4x4 shop and get some opinions from those guys too.
