Default Keep breaking front shock bolts

Have had this happen to me about 6+ times.

Front shock bolt (lower bolt) breaks leaving the shock to move at will. Have tried Grade 8 bolts. Every time i have to drill out the bolt from where it snapped off.

Added a a leveling kit when I bought the truck. Had the new shocks ordered for the leveling kit. Kept breaking bolts.
Went back to stock shocks. Same result. Only it seemed to break them quicker. So I have been back to the longer shocks for some time.

Still have a broken bolt.

This happens on both sides. Seems to happen more frequently with the driver side though.

Taken it too a couple professional shops, & they are stumped.

Any idea what I could do too fix this problem. It is becoming rather annoying.

Im have almost the same problems,,, I added the front leveling kit... stock shocks were no good so I bought regular shocks that came on the truck.. Problem with mne is the shocks arent long enough to do any good... My bottom bolts keep falling out... everyother day I get under my truck to make sure the bolts arent coming out... almost like i need a longer shock but cant find any

If they keep falling out put some lock tight on them and torque the hell out of them.

If they are breaking idk what to do.

I have longer shocks on mine now. same result. been thinking night and day about what to do about this...

What kind of leveling kit di you have installed? It seems that's when your problem started?

Lost of people use the bilstein or ranch level kite without issues. Some electing kits are not made well and throw your front end geomtery off. They can cause more wear and tear on front end suspension.
