Default diff. oil question

Hi folks, got a question about the differential oil for my truck. 02 ram quad cab. 5.9 Magnum. LSD...I no I should use 75W-140 syn. oil. Now my question is this, if I use the full syn. oil, do I still use the friction modifier? My parts store has Mobile One full syn. for 18.00a quart. Reg. 85W-140 for 8.00 a quart. I already have a 4 oz. bottle of friction modifier in my shop. I'm not a real cheap-skate or anything but I'll save money when I can, but not at the cost of chancing my rear end. Does 75W-140 come in a standard mix, or is it all syn. oil?
What would you all suggest....
Thanks...............
