Default Dropped plug in read differintial????

So my old plug fell out so oil was spewing everywhere, so i stopped and got a plug and the plug was to small and i had oil all over my hands so it slipped out of my fingers and into the diff., because it was to small. So should i drive it or should i worry about the rubber plug in the diff.?

CollateralDamage will become famous soon enough

From a no mechanic point of view i cant see it hurting anything >.>; lol, i would pull the diff cover myself and see if i damaged the gears from the oil loss while i retrieved the plug

If it gets bounced around I can see it coming in contact with the ring gear...not good.

I'd get a new gasket, fluid, etc...and pull the rear cover off and get it out of there.
