Well usually we dont revive old threads.....just referance them. (not busting your balls.

I would say your water pump is working fine....either it pumps or not. But it could be a bunch of things....bad cap, restriction somewhere, bad radiator... If your heat works great like you mentioned, im going to say its a bad cap not holding pressure or you have a leak in the system. If you cant hold pressure in the system, it wont raise the boiling point and will cause something simular to what you are experiencing
