Default Shudder at WOT

Well I finally got my truck back from the dealer (4 weeks, long story) after having the Stage I Ram Runner suspension install which is basically the Kore Prerunner suspension. I am runnning 17" ATX with 35" Cooper Discovere AT3's. If I accelerate at WOT from a complete stop I feel a temporary shudder, which disappears at 20-25 mph. If I hit WOT at any other time, nothing. At highway speeds it rides like a cadillac--no shudder or wobble. If I hit WOT on the highway it kicks down to 2nd and goes and goes. Also handling and cornering are vastly improved.

Before the upgrades I didn't have the take-off shudder issues, maybe a little wobble at 70-75mph which is now gone.

Could the TC or some other driveline component be acting up with the weight of the new wheels and tires? I have a non-stock rear swaybar. It wasn't removed with the Kore install. Could that be the problem?

Any advice or theories when be helpful. Thanks.
Does it come in black . . .

The only thing I can imagine going on here is that the tire blocks are causing this. I had some Cooper Discoverer tires on a Blazer and this Ram and got the same shudder just starting out. And it didn't matter whether the tires were cold or warm. But they were also a MT tire so this might not be the case with your AT tires.

I assume your wheels are torqued properly and that your u-joints are in good condition.

With your install did they also install the High Angle CV's ? I beleive the take off shudder you feel is the same as the one people get when they do the 2 inch leveling kits. The kore ramrunner kit includes these ... but your kit may not have.
