To start off, this joke will probably make alot more sense to maritimers, or people familiar with folks from Newfoundland. Just FYI My uncle is a "newfie" and he sent me this joke.
There was a newfie that was attending Yale, and he decided to compete in a local competition. For this competition the contestants were given a word, and had 5 minutes to make a poem with the word.
It came down to the finals, and the last 2 contestants was the Newfie, and the top student at Yale.
Their final word was timbucktoo. First up was the top student, and his poem went like this : Across the desert's dry hot sand, trekked a lonely caravan, Men on camels two by two, destination timbucktoo. He scored an 8.5
Next was the newfie, and his poem went like this: Me an Tim a huntin' went, met three whores in a pop up tent, d'ay were three an we were two, so i bucked one, an tim bucked two...
lets just say the judges loved the newfies poem
