Default Pimpin' the Ram Interior...

My 2012 3500 Mega Cab SRW is due at the dealership on Aug 15th. Being a fan of shows like "Pimp My Ride" and "Overhaulin", I'm thinking that I need to upgrade the rear mega-seating area for long 5th wheel trips with the family (wife, daughter 11yo, & son 8yo). So far I've only come up with installing an upgraded, after-market headrest video system: The Power Acoustik HDVD-9GRDK 8.8-Inch Pre-Loaded Universal Headrest Monitors with Twin DVD Combo and Headphones http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00158...237076-9530116.

1. Has anyone ever used this system before?
2. What other things is everyone doing to pimp the interior of their truck (show some pics)?

Hi, Don't forget to drop by the Newbie Checkin and introduce yourself. I've read many posts about interior mods and someone will be around to help. We all like photos so post some as you get the mods done?

My local audio shop is a Power Acoustik dealer and they looked pretty nice, though they only did custom installs into your OEM headrest with the builder's kit. If it is carried by the guys that I got my gear from, then it's a quality product as these guys care about what they sell.

Certainly audio and video is a good idea.

I've seen some trucks where the back lamps had a switch added and were retrofitted to the swivel type you see on airplanes so one person could read or whatever with a light that didn't affect the driver or other passengers.

Colored LED interior lighting, changing the color of the dash display, custom center consoles...etc...are all things I've seen done to a lot of trucks.

This is a genius idea. Don't have any kids or passengers riding back there often enough to do it, but the day will come. I can remember Dad refusing to turn the dome light on for us on road trips because he couldn't see (not that I blame him, now). This would have been such a simple fix.

I have different setup. Much much cheeper. 2 9 inch lcd's with DVD's. I got them off eBay. And today I installed the PAC Chyrvd cable. Now I can play the DVD from the 430n to the rear seat LCD headrests. The only bummer is that the radio does not have the ves turned on yet. So while driving the kids can watch a movie & us up front can only here it. I was hoping I would be able to listen to the radio up front And watch tv in te rear.
