Yes the Catch Can is a 4G Eagle Hemi "thing" (5.7L and 6.1L SRT's only)
The previous gen 5.7's had an internal PCV system you could not change.
FYI, You need custom Tuning to run a Supercharger too
I'd be first in line for a Magnacharger if it wasnt for our weak 545RFE.
This is basically the same POS re-worked transmission that dates back to early 02-03' Hemi's that was only designed for a power plant with just 345 HP at the Crank.
My 04' Ram (Sport Hemi QC 4x4) with NO mods, never even raced it, had to have the whole tranny replaced within one year. I only towed with it once!
Sorry , I already feel like I'm pushing my luck with 390HP at the crank (+mods) on my 10'.
The Reason there is more Torque Management written into the 4G PCM than any previous year Ram is to protect the weakest link....the Transmission.
There's at least Four 4G guys I know that have roasted theirs already. No Thanks...even "if" they fix it under warranty, Eventually warranty runs out
"If" they dont flat out deny you after the first one or two get done on their dime, how are you going to pay for a new one after that?
Get one of these if you want to run a Supercharger

ATS has a 545RFE transmission now, built to the standards of their diesel transmissions.
545RFE Billet Converter
Copilot controller (They will have the 545RFE version in a few months)
They put a LOT of custom work into these 545RFE transmissions & converters.
I personally go through ~3 transmissions a year, I keep 1 fully built transmission on the side. Up till ATS released the 545RFE, I felt like I was just going to have to live with changing transmissions all the time. I feel ATS should have a near bullet prof transmission.
They have a 5 year / 500,000 mile warranty! And they do not care if you you broke it racing.
The Price is far, $3000 or so.
So I got one. The fully built 545RFE, The Triple LOC Billet Converter, and a Co-Pilot (once its released). Along with extra heavy duty active cooling system.
I plan on putting this transmission to the test for the 2011 race season. Sand drags, Hill Climbs, Mud bogs, Truck Pulls,,, oh and the 1/4 mile too. So I'll put the new ATS 545RFE through the ringer. If the ATS Transmission can handle what I dish out, then I can say it'll handle what the above average HEMI Dodge owner does.
I should have the Transmission in mid April, just in time for the first points sand drag event.
I'll do a write up on it, with pictures and all.
I just picked up the transmission, and got a tour of the ATS offices. They have an awsome shop.
Here are some pictures, note the very deep oil pan, too. Very nice!
