Default Look what I got this morning!!!

I'm so excited!!!

NO! No, I didn't get rid of my trusty 3rd gen Ram. This is just a rental. Driving to Lubbock (350ish miles) today and back home Thursday. Haven't had the pleasure of driving a diesel before. This is going to be a treat. Curious as to how the 2500 rides compared to my 3rd and 4th gen 1500s.

Gawd, that woulda been nice. I would love to have one of these, but 1) I don't need anything this big, 2) I can't get it in a unicolor, although I do like the 3 different greens they have.

I liked the power it had. I could feel the torque in the rear wheels as I accelerated (gave me a chubby every time I punched it) while it was grabbing. The ride was about what I expected from a 2500, very bumpy. But, it felt like I was in a truck. Drives great, runs great. It's a great truck. I've got 3 more days of playing with it before I have to give it back. Ye Haw

I would have been very angry if you ditched the third gen, no matter how awesome the Cummins are. Drove 373 miles in our 2014 3500 Cummins today. Was amazing, just makes me want a Cummins more. Averaged about 22.2 MPG with me going pretty heavy on the skinny pedal.

I don't know how I'm gonna give this thing up. I really, REALLY want one now. The wife already vetoed it, so I'm pretty safe there. But, how do I go back to my itsy bitsy tinny little 1500 after this?

The only reason I can go back to mine is having the fact that it sits as high as the 3500 4x4. I am hoping winter 2015 to upgrade to 07-08 5.9L cummins or a pre-2013 4th gen. I will find a need for it.

The Laramie is super nice trim level. I've had a 3/4 ton since 2005 and I can't go back to a 1500. It does feel like a truck, but it still rides pretty damn nice and rides even better when towing.

Do I need a 2500? No. But..................................

Take my wife!!! Please! No, I mean call... Call my wife. Perhaps you can convince her that I can never ever go back to a 1500.
