Default 2008 2wd 1500 procomp 6" knuckle/crossnember lift question

I recently purchased this 6" lift for a song, but I'm not ready for a 6" lift yet. Does anyone know if I can use just the spindles from the lift and get 3"s

Thanks, Larry

I know the CST spindles can be purchased seperately from their 7" kit so I would think that yours would be the same?

Might have to give Pro Comp a phone call just to make sure.

Thanks Rammin,
Do you know if the spindles will work with 17" factory rims? On the Pro Comp site it says 18-20" for the rims, but I am not sure why that would be.

Yeah that doesn't make sense either. The CST kits will work with 17's so I would think the Pro Comps would too but if the site says only bigger then ???

The pro comp lift is a crossmeber lift where as the cst is spindle and coil that's why you can use only the spindles on the cst and gain 4" lift, the pro comp however won't allow you to do this because there spindles ad no loft they are just 6" longer to accomadete the 6" coil that can be used by lowering the crossmember

As for the rim issue I would think its just a matter of the right backspacing and stock wont work

Have to check the backspacing on the stockers, you'll probably need spacers for them not to rub. Can only have a max of 5" of BS (and I believe thats with an 18" wheel).
