After 3 trannies, water pump, power steering pump, air intake manifold gasket leaks, terrible piston knock and only 101,000 miles, we've pretty much had it with the thing.

We started dreaming last night and came up with this. . .

2013 Ram Ramcharger (sounds weird I know)

Ram 1500 Crew Cab Chassis
4.7 V8 (5.7 Hemi optional)
4 Speed Automatic (5 speed optional)
3.55 gears (3.92 optional)
Towing Capacity: 10,000 lbs
Seating:7-9
Cargo Space:140 cubic feet max
Third Row folds down into the floor

You get where I'm going with this.
Build it and I will buy it!! With 6 kids I wish my Ram would hold us all instead of having to take the Mini Van on family trips

We're taking our Suburban down to Moab this week to go dirt bikin'. We'll be towing a fully loaded enclosed snowmobile trailer. I'm just praying that the tranny doesn't blow. But if it does, that'd be nice too. We just need it to go out right as we get home and not 8 hours away from it.

Trying to think about it, but I wouldn't put it past the old turd.

So big and boxy? Not trying to be mean but if you look at the older Bronco's, Blazer's, and Ram Charger's, they were boxy as hell

The upside to all of them, you could beat the living crap out of those and they'd still run. And very welcoming to engine/tranny/diff/suspension upgrades.

OMG! Topic starter picture is exactly what I'm dreaming of. 4 door ramcharger would be so sweet. Once I get back on track with money, I was thinking about buying 1500 crew cab sport and converting it to ramcharger... I wonder if its even possible, or I'm just raving?

It could be done, but it would be a lot of work as the bed and cab aren't one piece so there would be quite a bit of fabrication involved...

Agreed, hell of a makeover, but you'd end up with one saweeeeeeeeet ride. The way i see it, it would be similar to the wrangler JK8 makeover just backwords and a lot more complicated.

Similar in design cues possibly but definitely not the same parts. LOL

If you look across any year of any manufacturer you will see similar styling/design cues.
