I am almost positive 2010 kits will work. Hopefully someone can confirm this. I have a kit coming in the mail from DDM Tuning. I can't wait to get them installed!

My .02...

Yes, the 2010 kits will work. The headlights haven't changed any. Now the computer on the other hand has. The 2011s have a Mercedes based computer and are a PITA. My suggestion is to buy them from a company, not eBay. You can choose from several but the more popular ones are AAC, DDM tuning, and 3B Spec. It's pretty common to have flickering problems or lights that just won't work at all in the 4th gens. I would want to get something from a company that will stand behind their product and send you as many ballasts that you need to get it right. The fogs are plug and play though so if push comes to shove you will have those to use if your headlights become troublesome...

Dwyer86, I don't know of a magic number. I don't think there is a law against certain colors. The scale for HIDs 6000k, 8000k, etc pertains to the color, not to the light output. 6-8k are the most popular choices however...

I was opting for the HID's from DDM, however, I've since been nervous at the thought of having my lights not working for some reason or another. DDM sells the "error eliminator" that I thought was supposed to take care of the reliability issues for the 2011 Ram. Hmmm.. What gives? How did your installs work out?

I have the DDM kit with the error code eliminators. My install worked out perfect, with the exception of having a bad ballast shipped to me (causing one of the bulbs not to fire up occasionally). DDM is shipping out another one to me though, so everything should be fine. I absolutely love the look of the 8000K HIDs. Also, the install was much easier than I though it would be.

@ NYR: So how long did it take to install? Was it a dramatic difference for night time driving? Which lights did you replace (low or high beam)? Any pics of install showing under the hood?
