^^ yeah it definitely depends how performance/racing friendly they are. Most likely if they are gear heads themselves they can tell if it was abused or just broke from normal driving, and will do the right thing and repair it if they should.

Very nice for your friend, Tim, but don't disclose you have one to your dealer.

Now, if they ask, I guess you have to make that value judgement for yourself. I would tell them if they asked, "Yes, I do."

Im still in the air about the tuner. I would probably just use the canned tune which seems works well, but they dont have one for 89 octane which is what i run and with the gas prices here, i dont want to run 91 or bump down to 87. See the dilemma? lol

Do most of you guys play with the settings or just run the canned tune? i dont know much about all the technical info so i probably wouldnt play with it but i want to make sure the canned tunes would give me a nice power boost

I just have the canned tune on my Ram. On page 2 of my Ram Mods thread linked below you'll see what I got out of the canned 91 octane tune.

DS can put an 89 tune up for ya.

Havent heard this before... jk I just got my transmission replaced and ive done several things to my truck that would void a warranty and my diablo tune was the least of my worries. It all depends on the dealership and if they want to void it or not. But you should be fine just do like diablo says and take the tune back to stock and hope for the best. My dealership is opening a performance shop with a dyno and they will be doing diablo tunes so thats how much they care about them...
