1) Headlights are horrible, fog lights are more useful.
2) Front bumper rusting. Dealer claims "rock chips". Not sure how I got "rock chips" even under the plastic bumper cap.
3) Keyless entry when it decides to ignore me, even when I'm touching the truck.
4) Truck seems to be a magnet for scratches/dents. Might just be bad luck.
5) 26 Gallon tank, 400 mile range on a good day?
6) Nav entry lockout unless you're at a dead stop. Give me 5 mph at least!
7) Electronic temp control that I have to adjust morning vs evening and have to override the output position selection. On my car, I leave it set at 72 in the summer and 73 in the winter and I never have to pay attention to it. It's supposed to be Auto, not assisted manual.
8) No heated seats in the rear. I have the front "bench" seat. Do bench seat truck passengers not have cold butts in the back?
9) Why isn't "ESP Off" really OFF? I'm a big boy, I understand that there may be consequences for my actions.

Don't get me wrong though, I really like this truck overall! 46,000 miles so far.

LOL another one about the tank. Is 400 mile range really not enough? I can go about 400-500 miles with mine, same size tank, and still have 1/8 tank left. Even with the miles I put on my truck which is A LOT, a tank lasts at least a week, sometimes two weeks. My old ford would be lucky to break 200 miles to a tank, and got close to the same mpg.

Constantly taking it to the dealer for repairs. In 40k it’s been the following.
Exhaust manifold bolts broke.
HVAC mode door recall
HVAC mode door broke
HVAC mode door broke again
HVAC stopped working
HVAC blower squeaks
Automatic headlights failed
Tail gate cap came off
Transfer case leaks
Tie rod ends had to be replaced
Engine light comes on if I give it full throttle
It’s currently at the dealer again with no ETA for getting it back. But as soon as I do this truck is going to have to find a new home. I love Dodge trucks. I’ve had five of them over the years, but this one has not been good to me. When I get it back from the shop it’s going to have to find a new home.

Try towing.........you stop every 2.5 to 3 hours to fill up. I would like a bigger tank.

I'd say we have fairly different driving conditions. It looks like you've got a 4.7L down at sea level with fairly flat terrain. I've got a 5.7L 4x4 at 4,700' elevation with hilly terrain +/- 16 MPG. I average 3 fill ups every 2 weeks, I don't mind one fill up a week, but two is annoying. Plus, as was stated, when towing at 10 mpg that extra 6 gallons a fill up would be nice. I hate it when the truck needs more pit stops than the kids!

^ Definitely a good point, I drive 95% flat ground here in FL, helps with mpg. Still, when towing I can go about 300 miles before filling up, and that's leaving about an 1/8 tank in there. That's a heavy load too, like 5,000 lbs to 6,000 lbs. I pretty much don't notice a difference in mpg until I get above a 2,000 lb load. Everyone has their opinion, I just don't see the need to drive more than 300 miles straight without stopping. I like to stop about once an hour anyway just to stretch my legs.

1. Headlights are uninspiring. Headlights on my 10 year old POS chevy work truck are brighter...
2. Lame Goodyears that come on the 4x4. Why don't they put a decent tire on a 4x4 truck??
Other than that, happy so far.

ive gotten used to the wiper switch being so far back so thats not an issue for me now however im 5ft 5 and i probably have the seat only about half way back. when you try and roll the window down you cant get your hand between the seat unless you turn your hand sideways.

I don't have a problem with the headrests as I lean sideways most of the time anyway
I CANT stand that seat belt rattle either!

My pass side headlight went out around 2000 miles But they replaced it and never had a problem since.
