Default Performance Chips

Hey All,
What do you know of the GFChips that are advertised? Legit?
Do they do as they claim and not adversely affect original equipment?

They are trash and I would strongly recommend you not get one.

It won't install correctly, you won't get any instructions and you can never get in touch with the tech line for help.

All they do, if they do anything at all, is overfuel the engine to make power.

no problem, lefty. I've seen a few folks here that purchased them and now they have a nice paperweight to use at home.

I haven't seen a JET chip that is made for our trucks. In any event, I have never seen much of an improvement with them, either on my own vehicles or others.

You want to wake up that HEMI? Get a CAI, freer flowing exhaust and a programmer, such as the DiabloSport Predator or a SuperChips tuner. I have the DSP on both of my MOPARs and really saw an improvement. If ya want a representative demonstration, check out my Ram Mods link below and go to page 2 where you will see my before programmer install and after programmer install dyno results. At the time, I had a K&N drop-in filter in the stock airbox and the exhaust had been done.
