Default Urgent Help Needed, wont start

Good Evening guys, Today I pulled the truck into the garage to work on the bed, I went to pull it up so i could close the door down and it fired and immediately died? I have tried and tried to start it, all it will do it crank over but doesnt fire... Have anyone had this issue before and know what it might be? I checked all the fuses and they are all good ( under the hood and the dash )

About 3 weeks prior to today I had a simular issue on the way back from the doctors office, it didnt want to start, it would crank , fire, idle rough and die... finally it fired up and idled normal and I was able to drive off. The truck ran fine up till today, it started, I drove it into the garage and shut it off, went to move it and nothing???? Thanks for any info everyone! Have a great weekend.

Not sure but years ago I had a problem with a cracked distributer cap and the points were fried.

I replaced plugs, wires, cap/rotor when I got the truck since they were worn out. I have a coil mounted on the side of the motor up front so unless that went out? I was thinking maybe the crankshaft position sensor or something? I was too tired to mess with it tonight and sweat rolling off me from doing the body work and spraying... Now this????

Check the easiest things first. Hope it is simple. How's the paint prep going and what color pattern are you going with?

I checked the coil just now and I get spark... so Im thinking it might be a fuel issue? Hope the fuel pump didnt crap out but if it did I am about empty anyways 1/8th tank. Guess spray a little starting fluid in the trottlebody and see if it fires up for a second?

I am going with 2004 Chysler Electric metallic blue, going to have a buddy make up some vinyl decals for me, dont know if I am going to do the vinyl in white, black or some other color yet, as well as what type of vinyl stripes/graphics I am going to do yet... Thought about....
* Bed Stripe
*Racing Stripes ( Hood/Cab Roof/Tailgate )
* Body Graphics down sides from front to back?
* Pinstripe design down sides from front to back?
* Still thinking up and open to suggestions....................

I would say either the fuel pump went out or the fuel pump relay died. On the plus side you wanted to take the bed off anyway for bodywork. Shaun

Yes, at least I wont have to drop the tank since I need to pull the bed to get the back of the cab/bed.... Well, if I get a chance today I will spray some starting fluid in the throttle body and see it she kicks over...If thats the case Ill move to the relay before singling out the expensive fuel pump. Thanks.

Reddog, thanks a million... It was a cheap simple fix, a $12 fuel relay did the trick, I am back up and running again ! The $12 relay was lifetime , a $9 relay was 2 yrs. so I did the lifetime since I plan to keep this truck for quite some time.
