Default Mothers Back to Black

After reading through Haydenwars thread on using this product for trim restoration (Found here) I knew I finally found a product that would get the few trim pieces back to black.

My molded mudguards have been looking more gray than black lately and were starting to be a real eyesore IMO. A few minutes with Mothers and they look as good as the day I put them on!

Simple application, apply, let dry and buff. It works wonders on the black pieces on the bumper as well as the foot pads on the step bars. Now all that needs to seen is how long the product lasts.

what i usually do is when the water isnt beading up as well on the black parts and at the first signs of fading coming back i just reapply. an estimate would be it last about a month or two. depends on washing ,raining etc. i do know that if you drive in rain the mud flaps wont last near as long. theyll look ok except where rain runs down them.

Agreed! I have used MB2B before and for me it doesn't last but a month. I have been using this with a little better results:

That stuff worked well. I have a trim piece I might have to try it on.

Works really well on tires, too. They stay black longer than most other stuff I've tried.

Discovered one thing I don't like about this stuff at all. Dust clings to it like crap on a wool blanket. Every surface I treated with it is just covered in dust. Might have to re-think this stuff!

I would like to know of theirs a spray or wax that works well on the black plastic, as it probably would work on my matte black rims. Anything I've used doesnt seem to work
