Default Oxygen sensor extension

I just got my truck back from the exhaust shop. I had true dual put in from my pacesetter long tube headers all the way back. It's connected to the 3" collector by a band clamp. A couple high flow cats for the lawman and magnaflow mufflers. They didn't put in an x pipe. My truck is a single cab short bed so space may have been the issue. The sound is very mellow at idle and has a nice rumble at 2500-3000 rpm. I plan to put in some cut outs one of these days. I really liked the dirt track sound from the straight headers. My question is: has anybody bought an extension , or has anybody cut and spliced their current o2 sensor to reach the new downstream bung.
Any advice is appreciated.

It should just be a matter of heat shrink crimping longer wires. Maybe put some black split loom over it for protection. If you had a Diablo tuner, you could turn off the rear O2"s, like the hemis can. Heck, I don't have any cats on my hemi.

Thanks hydrex. Heat shrink, butt splices and some wire I pulled out of my boat last year did the trick. I'll get my tuner when I put a cam and intake in old blue.
Cheers
