So I wonder if I hold the (-) button on my shift lever if it would shift up automatically...I'm not going to try it lol. How the heck did you find that out? You must be ballsy to risk letting it hold in first... And again, not to say I don't believe you but I don't see how that's different from tow/haul.

Wait, so you're holding the shifter left while you drive? Or do you hold it for a few seconds, and then drive?

I believe he holds it left the whole time he goes down the track.

What's stock? Like 5,700 redline? You could probably run a little quicker if you shifted 1-2 at like 6200 or 6300, and 2-3 at 6000. I'm not familiar that much with where the power band on the hemi is though, it may not be beneficial to rev it higher.

Huh...my warrenty guy in my town said pretty much the only thing that'll void warranty is settin the shift points and rev limit higher than stock. I think I'm just gonna stick to putting my tow/haul mode on, it seems safer

You can't anyway as there's no tuner out for the 2011 lol. The newer motors are really well balanced, and there's not really any harm spinning to 6,500 rpm at the track every once in awhile, but your warranty concern is valid. I spin my 4.7L as high as superchips will let me (I think it's 6,500 rpm). Also doesn't have lifters/pushrods being OHC so that puts me a little at ease...that's my story anyway haha...

i hold it to the left all the way down the track...it shifts 1,2,2prime,3 - on the evic it will still read 1,2,3,4 even though you are going into 2prime

Do you have to have the Predator installed for this to work? I would love to have a half-assed 6 speed, even if I gottta hold the shifter to the left as for changing the shift points, I think I'll stick to the stock setup...(not like I have a choice as snrusnak pointed out)
