Default Superchiped my truck!!!

Just wanted to share my experiance with the Flashpaq.

AMAZING! It completely changed my truck from a big sluggish blob, to a zippy ready to rock monster! Was not expecting such a difference. Best $280 Ive ever spent. Who needs a Hemi???

I used the 91 Performance tune and my highway milage INCREASED!

I noticed the same with my truck. If you have 93 near you you can run the 93 tune and pick up another 15 lbft of torque IIRC...

Yeah, I just found out theres a BP here in town that offers 93, so once my tank runs out ill fill up with that and retune.

Are you still running stock intake or have you swapped to an aftermarket setup? I just installed an airaid unit and noticed a DROP in off the line giddy up. Ive read that upgraded intake shouldnt affect the tune but im starting to have my doubts.

I have a airaid dry drop in and a airaid modular intake tube. I then have a temporary ribbed tube that goes from the airbox to under the bumper.

Be careful judging mods immediately after install, the computer will adjust over time and you may get a false butt dyno reading immediately after install.

I figured with the advancements in automotive computers it would just right itself. it HAS to be getting more air. the filter is ENORMOUS!

Yeah just takes some time to adjust. Anything that has impact on air or fuel(intake, exhaust, tuning) you need to let the computer adjust.

Bumped it up to the 93 tune. Power has definitely increased. MPG has decreased. Not by a whole lot. Pretty much back to where it was before Superchips. Oh well. Still worth EVERY penny!

I've only tried tow, 91, and 93 tunes and noticed the same mpg with 91 and 93 (which was better than tow and stock). Not by a whole lot though, maybe 1 mpg.
