You can still email Dodge and get a build sheet. Just got one on my '96.

One of my best buds back in Phoenix used to off road a RCSB off road ('01) with the sport package.
I also know this because his original springs are in my truck.

ok with all of this. I had the same question. but i was told mine was a sport. now if im right the sport came with the plastic bumper. mine does not have one. so i figured it would be an offroad edition. but it doesnt have any skidplates or anything and it is a reg cab with a manual trans. i can easily pull up my info from dodge as i do work there and can access that info but it doesnt really tell me which trim level it is.... with all of this i do know i have the heavy duty suspension package in it...now if i were to lift it say 3 inches will i see the three inches or not????

All the Off-Road editions I've ever seen have wheel flares.

3 inch body or suspension? I'd say yes you'll see the 3 on the body but I really don't know about the suspension. Does it provide blocks for the rear axle that are 3 inches larger that the ones you already have from the factory?

i guess i should have added that part in... 3 inch suspension lift with coils and leafs. no spacers or add a leaf. and after reviewing my build list i guess it just has heavy duty shocks. but my truck already does have the factory rear block and sits high already.

Hi Guys, I have an 01 Ram Quad cab short bed off road. It has plastic emblems and a 5 speed. You'll know it's an off road for sure the first time you go to put upper ball joints in it (mines goes thru them what seems like every year). The regular version uppers will fall right thru the hole if you have an off road version.
The steering is different too. Drive someone elses base version and you'll feel it.
