100% agree!!! I quit using armorall on interiors over 20 years ago because of it drying out dashboards. Instead I use orange or lemon Pledge! Be careful of other dusting products though, Pledge is a wax base which will keep interiors from drying out and it smells good too
I wear out tires fast enough that I'm not worried about them drying out, so I used to use the armorall on tires, but got tired (pun intended) of the dust collection, so now I don't bother on my daily's, only use it on the Camaro's tires when I take it to a show.

I generally use water + soft cloth. I have some leatherwipes which are really gentle and don't add a lot of gloss. They are for cleaning and protecting leather, not making it brittle and shiny.

Armorall is garbage. Highly marketed garbage. Everything from their wash soap to the wipes to the tire shine which turns the tires orange after a few days. It's all greasy junk which makes everything slippery and causes dirt / dust to stick to it. In the long run it can ruin parts that are exposed to sunlight. I won't ever buy another Armorall product again.

I use a dash pad from Dodge
mostly because i keep my invoice book & pen up there, they don't slide around

The bad thing is the way it is put together
it has an Air Bag flap & part of the cover hangs down over the glove compartments, i cut that part off

well i have a decent report about the sonus total eclipse. it worked very well in the dodge, toyota and ford, but not so well on the BMW. On the BMW dash it seemed to be splotchy, but it was definately a very different material then the other vehicles, suede like vinyl is my best description. I followed the instructions to wipe it on with a microfibre applicator pad and for a satin finsh, leave it five minutes and rewipe with a damp microfibre cloth. id say it worked as described and gave a finish just as good as my fav product (einzett premium cockpit), but did not really have a fragrance, and was closer to the glossy side of satin.

The leather conditioner was a bit of a different story however. it did have a scent (almost an imitation leather scent) and did apply very easily. the nourishment seemed almost instantaneous on the leather and it did really deepen and enhance it appearane. the only thing i didnt like aside form the fake leather smell was that it did appear to be too slippery even when cured. not sure if it is the leather it was used on, but it was slippery like armour all, and that is deinately not what i want on the leather.

overall the sonus line appears to be very good products for the money ad im sure i will continue to try it and perfect the application processes. ill try and get some pics up later, and post in the product review section. I also tried a few other products that i cant wait to share the results. it was a detail filled long weekend for me!
