Default Those who've done the catch can:

I have a question, I know alot of people are using catch can's on their hemi. Are you just basically putting a catch can in between the pcv valve and throttle body? I was thinking about this for my 4.7L, and am wondering if the pcv systems are set up the same way. I haven't looked at my pcv system but it must go either to the throttle body or manifold, I know it does not go to the intake tubing or filter box because I've had all that apart. Only thing that goes to the intake filter box is another hose off the valve cover, but I don't think this has anything to do with pcv, not really sure what it is, but no oil comes out of it, and it's before the air filter, so I don't really care lol. Thank you.

Normally, the system is just a hose between your intake (TB or manifold) and your PCV valve.

Right, I understand that. I guess what I'm asking is, do you install the catch can at some point in between the pcv valve and intake? So the liquid is caught, but the vapor makes it into the intake? Thanks.
