I think the 12.4 video is before the cam because he ran a 12.4 when I was there with him before the cam. He has jeep long tube headers(don't remember which brand), 6.4 cam now, nitrous(ran 175hp shot when I was with him), an RT converter, and I think intake/muffler and that's it I believe...oh and B&G tune and slicks and I think some small things like 180 deg tstat and mech fan delete(v6 efan). 3.55 lsd.
Thx, which heads is fhr05 using?

Boy that sure has me stumped. Bet that mustang guy was pissed! What's his 1/4 mile et without the juice and how much did this swap imporove his et? It looks like he's shifting out of first at 6200 rpms, I would think it would be a little higher with that cam. Non the less I can hear the cam and it sounds good.

I don't know what he runs NA, only been to the track with him the one time. I also don't know the difference the cam made on his times, he says it feels quicker though. I'm not sure he's run it since the cam. His B&G determines the shift points not the cam.

No s*** Sherlock, lol! Actually his vvt limiter does, it's tuned to the stock cam specs by B&G. Which is not to the full potential, 6500 rpms would be more like 6.4 1'st gear shift point . His vvt limiter will prevent this. Btw, why is his sig so messed up, it was blownhemi05 what happened to that setup? Is he the same guy? And and since you went with him to the track does it sound that good in person?

He sold his 05 and then got the 2011 express. And I don't believe it's been to the track since the cam swap since I believe it got rained out last week

It sounds really good in person. He did a couple passes and I was at the 1000 ft and it sounded really mean. Then I raced him(go ahead and laugh) on hwy 50 when we left and it sounded great pulling away lol. I haven't heard it with the cam yet.

I don't know about his sig. I'd assume he just updated it like garner said...probably used to have an 05. His screen name has bee fhr05 for some time though.

Not laughing, I most likely would have done the same thing. However, I'm still not completey satisfied about the 6.4 swap without using 6.1 or older 5.7 heads. But if it's true, it sure is nice to know that's for sure. I guess I'd better go back further into this thread and maybe a little hemi schooling too, lol!

Does anybody have a write up for a cam install in a 4th gen or is it the same as the third gen?
