I've heard of both of those companies, no experience with them though. From what I see, dynomax mufflers are similar to magnaflow, should sound and perform the same as well, but I don't know that they have a lifetime warranty. If you do the duals to dual in/dual out muffler, I'd recommend getting the muffler that has the x pipe built inside (dynomax and magnaflow both have these I know)...

That doesnt make any sense when you have stock duals and factory bumper exits and tips. It would look sloppy with just one exit point.

I really think I am going to go the route of duals from cats back into a DI/DO muffler and utilize the factory rear pipes and tips. The shop that I want to do the job seems pretty pricy though. They want $410+Tax ($444). That includes all parts and labor. Does this seem excessive? I know this shop does great custom work, and is one of the best in the DFW metroplex. I dont want to skimp and get shotty work on my expensive new truck, but is it really worth the extra cash?
I am thinking about doing this exact same thing. Not sure what muffler I am going to go with yet though. I have made an awesome connection with a shop here in Houston and everybody there is very cool and they do great work. I did the same type of set up on another car I used to have and never had any issues. I did go with out the X-Pipe before but didn't like the sound. Took it back to them and they installed the Magnaflow X-Pipe and all the drone and nasty sound was gone. So, I plan on going with two pipes, X-Pipe before the muffler, and then two mufflers hooking up to my stock tails. He promised I would love the sound and I'm pretty sure there will not be any issues. Thought I would chime in to help push you along. Hurry up and do it and post your video so I can hear. I'm waiting for another couple of weeks before mine is done.
