Default Anyone ever use tailpipe stretcher/expander?

Didn't know exactly where to put this thread....I couldn't find any info on this product (here or google) on exactly how it works, and if it really works. I'm looking at tailpipe stretcher lisle 34400. I've heard the tailpipe expanders are junk and don't work, but the stretcher will work, slowly, with an impact(I have one it will go up to around 125 psi with my light duty compressor). I would rarely use it, maybe every 5 years lol. I want to buy one now to do the exhaust on my truck, I recently got the mig/flux core welder, and have some saws to cut pipe, so this would really be the last thing I need to do a real nice job on my exhaust. Anyone that knows if it would work I'd appreciate the insight!

I just read some reviews on it on the amazon website and most say it works but keep it well lubed with a synthetic bearing grease and take it slow. One review stated that it is best to loosen it and turn it or it can stretch the pipe out of round.

Yeah that makes sense....I saw somewhere it says you need 160psi on the impact, I can't get that much pressure, I'm wondering now if the 125psi I can do will be enough. I guess I could always return it...

Well I did notice one person stating they were doing it by hand with a breakover bar.

I suppose I'll try it and make sure it's refundable, and if it doesn't work out I'll get my money back. If someone can do it with a breaker bar I'm sure my impact will work out...

My dad has an expander. I've onlly seen him use it once on his 70 challengers exhaust and he used a 3/4" drive ratchet.
Take it slow and it'll do what its supposed to
