kay9, either, 8" width would probably be lighter, and I could still run a 10" wide slick if needed. I don't think I'll have much trouble hooking up (4.7L doesn't have alot of off the line grunt). 8" width would be preferred to save weight, but I'd run a 9" if the price was right. I sort of wish I kept my stock wheels now, but I figured I'd be able to find something lighter...and a little more unique. Do you have some you are selling or some suggestions?

I saw a set of oem 17x8 off road alloy rims on ebay for $352.42 shipped. They are a fairly popular track rim as well as a daily street rim. Very durable and light but also looks good for a 5 spoke. Just an option to consider.

I brought my BFI and OEM tinted tails from their e-bay store at a great price so i tend to take a peak ever now and then to see what other items they have.

EDIT: If you were local then i would try to sell you my MB Blitz 17x8 Alloys for $150. They are 24-25lbs.

Cool. When I worked there I wasn't too impressed with their prices as far as stock parts go, but anything that came in and was aftermarket they seemed to list cheap on ebay. I think they figured it was harder to sell being aftermarket, and it was "extra" profit. I never thought about going back and talking to my old boss about grabbing a set of wheels, he'd probably let me just take them, we got along great. Wish I would have kept in touch now lol!

That makes sense now as i was wondering how they would list a BFI $104.95 shipped and then list oem intakes for $200+shipping..

Do you know which model/year exactly those wheels you posted came on stock? I may try to get a hold of my old boss and see if he has any in their yard...but need the specific model/year range...

They came on some Gen 2's and some 3G TRX models. Either will fit just fine.
The truck is one and the same
