Default High beams and fog lights at the same time?

Any way to make the fog lights stay on when the high beams are turned on?

I'm not sure if you can on an 02. My girlfriends dads 09 can be done with his tuner so it may be possible

auto manufactures don't normally have high beams & fog lights work at the same time

using high beams in a fog or a rain actually hinders your driving, the beams are set at hood level & when it reflects off of the mist or rain drops, it shines right back into your eyes

anything can be done to make it work, but it is only for Show, not real conditions

Yeah, it can be done if you talk really, really nice to your service advisor. Some will say it can't be done but it they export Rams to Europe with this function.

Having the fog lights stay on with high beams is actually really nice, especially living in the woods. There is a pretty big difference with just high bed and high bed with fogs.
I really like having the wider light of the fog lights to se the bank sides of the roads along with high beams. I've also had a deer jump into the side of my car before

I'm with you on that one. Whenever I'm offroading I drive with my fogs on too. I wish I could do my highs with my fogs because driving down trails I really wish I had more lights.

I do see the need for it at times, but, in inclement weather it is not so good

MICHAEL is correct, the dealer can change the software settings to make it work, i am surprised that we don't have the ability to do it in the Personal settings in our EVIC.
We should also have the ability to make our headlights work 24/7
I asked my service dept to do that for me on my '09 Ram, i know that Rams sold in Canada have to run them 24/7, i was told that they use a different computer in Canada, i believe it is just added software, not hardware

Thanks for all the resposnes guys. I understand that fog lights can be liability in rain/fog but I thought I'd ask anyway. When I'm driving around some areas of the ranch at night I'll sometimes hold the high beam lever back toward the stearing wheel to get the benefit of fog lights and high beams together but it gets old having to keep it held back. I may do a little tinkering to see what I can come up with.

Again, thanks for the replies and have a good week.
