Lol, hey I don't mind offering advice. Hate to see fellow Ram owners duplicate the same mistakes that I have.

You better hope your next set of components' crossovers match the Morels...or do plan on keeping these forever.

Kidding aside, I'm interested in seeing what the exposed crossovers would look like in the kicks, but I think they could be displayed tastefully somewhere else without cutting up your truck.

Replacement kick panels are cheap enough to try it out I suppose.

I'm gonna start my build very soon....2 weeks off starting next week.

I am drawing a blank on where else they could be displayed tastefully.

Implement them on your amp rack/sub box? Back corners of the cab?

I'm putting mine on my back wall amp rack....I have to say I'm curious how the kick panels would turn out.

I thought about near the amp rack, but that pretty much doubled the amount of wiring I would need.

I'm a cheap a$$ sometimes...

Thinking about just going ahead with the kick panels and see what happens. At least it provides easy access if I need to adjust the jumpers inside when tuning.

Be sure to post pics....I know what you mean about the wiring. I'm thinking I'll probably be over 200' of speaker wire by the time I'm done running everything to the back wall.

MS8 from factory location to back wall - 6 wires (LDsh, LDr, RDsh, RDr, Sub1 ,Sub 2)

Dash, front door and center locations - 7 wires

Rear doors - 4 wires, a little shorter than the fronts, but still...

I buy walmart speaker wire so it's not too bad.

Lol, well yeah you are going to have some MASSIVE runs of wire. But it will sound so goooooood. Great choice on the MS-8.

TechFlex and our satin nickel terminal for the subwoofer enclosure arrived today. I went ahead and soldered the subwoofer connection to the terminal, heatshrinked over the connections, and then used a cable clamp to secure them.
