Deadener and Butyl Rope arrived yesterday, still waiting on the speaker wiring, and our new carrier plate and wiring harness for the driver's side door.

Also, hit a tiny snag with the head unit. It will not load a CD. Not sure if this was an existing issue, or if something rattled loose during shipping, but it sucks. I made the worst mistake ever too... took it apart so that I could get a CD to play, and I got to hear this work of art in all her glory... and sound will never be the same. I have NEVER heard a CD player that recreates audio in the same manner as the Clarion DRX9255. And that's the truth. So now we're on the hunt for replacement parts, and probably a CD Changer with the fiberoptic connection, in order to retain similar sound quality from the changer through the head unit.

Here is some video of the issues we're facing:

Looks like the "clamp" is stuck in the down position, and is blocking the CD from entering. But if I push down on it, and then slide the lever to the side forward:

Ejecting sometimes works with no problems, sometimes have to help release the "clamp"

Amazing work I just spent the last two hours reading your old thread and following you to this one.

I dont know anything about car audio and was really wanting to do a sound system in my truck. I feel like in 5 minutes after giving you a $number$ and you could give me part numbers and a shopping cart of everything I needed!

That is if your ok with it? Once again amazing job so far and ill keep following to see the finished product.

I have quite a few times. Not sure it is the route I want to take this time.
