Looks good! How hard is it to install leveling kit? And did you have to get front end aligned?

The garage that installed it did an alignment afterwards. They only charged 1/2 hour labor for the install so it can't be a very big job, providing you have the required tools.

I just bought a 2011 1500 and would love to get 305/55's on my stock chrome clads but I am worried about losing a lot of mpg's. How much would I lose going from the stock 275/60's to the 305/55's? I have the 5.7 so I think i would still have plenty of power? I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks

Love your truck man. I love the white walls on those tires too! I think the contrast is amazing with the gray

wallace31 - truck looks great! did your Daystar kit consist of just the 2.5" front spacers, or did you also install rear spacers as well? did you have to install wheel spacers to avoid rubbing with the UCA?

Look good! Can't wait to upgrade my tires and wheels once the stock tires wear out.

Thanks for the compliments.

parker001-
The fuel economy has decreased, I would say 2-3mpg. The tires are about 20lbs heavier each than the stock tires. I also noticed a slight power loss, not so much on the bottom end but when accelerating to pass a vehicle while crusing at highway speeds. My truck has 3.55's, I would love to have 3.92's.
With that being said, i don't regret going with these tires. They make the truck.

Porter- the kit was just the front spacers, nothing in the rear.

Thanks for the input. I made sure when I purchased my truck that it had 3.92 gears so that should help my power. How about rubbing and the width of the tires throwing rocks etc on the paint job? I was about to order some 305/55's but I have talked to several people who have said to stick with the 275/60's in a all terrain tire. Also the 305/55's come only in a 10 ply tire which i have heard rides really rough.
