Thanks for the input. I made sure when I purchased my truck that it had 3.92 gears so that should help my power. How about rubbing and the width of the tires throwing rocks etc on the paint job? I was about to order some 305/55's but I have talked to several people who have said to stick with the 275/60's in a all terrain tire. Also the 305/55's come only in a 10 ply tire which i have heard rides really rough.
my 305/55/20 Toyo Open Country A/T's ride very smoothly. just about no difference from the stock goodyears. plus it took much less weight to balance them, a sign of quality construction.

I also heard that the Goodyear stockers are not a full 33 inches. I measured mine out to 32 inches. That got me thinking that 305/50r20's might be good because they come in lower ply which should be lighter. They are 32 inches in diameter and i believe 12 inches wide.

Ive yet to run across a tire that is it's full supposed diameter. Most are shorter than advertised under load.

No wheel spacers. The tires make it a little rougher, not worth complaining about.

looks great but it still looks like it has a slight rake to the front. can you measure the distance from the fender well to tire on front and rear and see if they are in fact the same? if you have never had them tires before you will absolutely love them in the snow and ice. i have been running that same tire on every 4x4 i have owned since 1995, they wear great and seem to last forever. i cant wait till mine wear out so i can get them same ones on my new ram.

Yeah, it does still have a slight rake to it. About 3/4" difference if I remember right. From what I have read it seems the 2 1/2" kit gives you about 2", and the 2" kit gives about 1 1/2".

What brand of leveling kit did you install, and did you DIY or have a shop do it? Thanks.
