it may be a good thing to think that hitting hard the gas pedal provides you with better gas mileage however !!!! ahahaha

yes....city rides should give you around 16 liters / 100 km avg, if you drive like a priest, highway should give you around 13....this is what I get anyway.

So right now your truck is showing you how many litres of gas you're burning (on average) for every 100 km you travel.

If you want to see miles/gallon, scroll down your EVIC screen and you'll see "Units". Hit the right arrow button there and it'll change to imperial for you and you can change it back whenever you want by doing the same procedure.

You're lucky Phil...

I'm getting over 17L/100km all the time in mine, with a worse of 19.7L/100km. But i'm always in the city with light everywhere.
Average of 17.6L/100km for 2616km. That's hand calculated.

On the highway, i'm getting anywhere from 10 to 13L/100km on the EVIC.

Here is what I have observed, I was on a trip and had gone about 1400 miles. You would think my avarage would be pretty stable after that many miles given the math, but as soon as I filled up with a tank of ethanol my average went down from about 12.5 MPG to 9 and was still dropping. The ethanol mileage was about 9 and the gasoline mileage was about 12.5 pulling a 7000 Lb trailer. Could the calculation be resetting itself when I refill the tank?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but if you're talking about running E85 I think you are actually supposed to gradually switch over, not just run gas, then fill up with E85.... E85 will get you less power and mpg as well. It is also not good for your vehicle, I would never put it in my gas tank...
