Default 2011 chrome grill/bumpers vs painted?

Okay so I just got my truck, and as I was driving off the lot I saw a white ram sport and fell in LOVE with the painted grill and front bumper. IDK if the rears are painted too, but if they are that is even better!

I still would have got my big horn over a sport because of the option and incentives, but am i the only one that likes the painted stuff better?

Most love the painted. To swap bumpers is very expensive (Well over $1000). I've thought about painting mine white as well....not sure how it'd look though...

As far as I know, the grill is a direct swap, so that'd be pretty cheap. To swap the bumper, you have to swap a bunch of parts, like the bumper pad, bumper bar, bumper cover....brackets...etc.... It's like $1000-$1500 just to swap the front, and that's PRIMED, not painted...

I've seen a pic of someone with the chrome one painted white, looked pretty good...

^^^^ Me likey . I have never been a fan of chrome--always like the "euro-style" with everything painted. I might look into painting or powdercoating my bumpers...the powder coating would hold up much better vs paint, but not too sure about the color match...

And the grille IS a direct swap. My friend wanted my chrome one and I was happy to do it...he even removed both grilles !

I actually like chrome, just depends on how it flows. I like my rear bumper, the chrome badging, even the grille....but the 1/2 acre of chrome hanging on the front is just odd looking. It makes the truck look sad, almost like its a big grump and is frowning....does that make sense....lol. I've thought about either painting mine white, or powder coating black, but can't picture it...

Check out mopar parts online for a colormatched grill with black honeycomb inserts. I bought mine from there for 250$ shipped.
