Default Rough country 2.5 spacers and 1.25 body lift

Just about finished installing my lift. Yesterday I got the coil spacers put in before lunch. Then I got the body lift on the truck cab done, finishing it in the rain. I'll get the truck bed lifted today. I have to say i'm really happy with this kit so far. The instructions were quite detailed. I've done coil spacers once before on a grand cherokee so I knew what to expect. I was a little intimidated with the body lift but it went fine. I do recommend using air tools. I did it with a couple of ratchets and wrenches. I'd also recommend using vertical hydraulic jacks instead of floor jacks. Here's a few pictures at it's worst. I had just lifted one side of the cab. I'll post more when I finish later today.

Final product pictures???? NOBODY locally would do a body lift for my 2011 here for some reason. I was going to do a 1.25" body lift and then a 4" later on down the road but nobody would touch it and its one of those things that I have more money than time so I'd rather pay someone to do it. I'm just going to stick to my 2.5" daystar leveling kit for awhile till I can swing 3k for a 4" to do it right proper!

Im planning on leveling mine and then probley next summer I will get a 3 inch lift kit installed, no reason really for the suspension lift because I dont plan on doing any hardcore off roading and it would cost about twice as much..just worried of any side effects of the body lift but hoping it will all turn out fine.

Probably a lot more than twice as much. the 2.5" daystar "lift" or leveling kit for mine was only 3 bills installed. Plus because their machine went out they couldn't get it aligned properly and it took longer so they threw in a $100 or more certificate for a full detail, wax, cleaning, etc for free. I like the 2.5" daystar kit a lot for the money and it doesn't really throw the geometry off much at all. All said and done, I just got 17x8.5" wheels and plan on doing 35" mud terrain tires and a 6" suspension lift down the line. I really like a 6" on the Gen 4 trucks as I think it looks aggressive, balanced, and some of the places I go shoot will need that much just for the clearance alone.

Here we are, got a break in the weather. Everything fits well, i'm very happy with my $250 kit from rough country. It's able to fit 35's but I'm just going with 33's. Total time to install was about 11 hours by myself.
