Default Iat

I recently installed an Airaid CAI into my 2010 1500 5.7 L Hemi and was wondering if handling the IAT could damage it and what symptoms would show of damage to the sensor. I ask this because you have to pull out the IAT and replace it in the new intake tube.

Thanks guys

IATs are usually pretty durable. Your not going to break it if your careful with what you are doing

Only way you would break it is if you hit the sensor tip and literally broke the tip, but they have a plastic guard over the tip (usually anyway), like he said ^ be careful and it will be fine. You can use some electrical parts cleaner and a rag/paper towel on the sensor to clean it as well if you'd like, just be gentle.
